The short version: your birth details are used to write your reading and are not stored on our servers afterwards. We run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers. We do not sell your information, and we never will.

What we collect, and why

What we deliberately do not do
- No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind.
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal information with data brokers or advertisers.
- No marketing email. We do not currently run a mailing list, and you will not be added to one without asking for it.
- No storing of your birth details after your reading is written.
Who else touches your information
To do its job the site passes specific information to these companies and no others. Each acts as our service provider:

If we ever add another, this page changes before it goes live.
Your choices
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive a copy, and to object to how it is used. You will not be treated differently for asking.
In practice we hold very little: we have no account system and no record of your birth details. What exists is your payment record with Stripe and, if you used one, a gift code record. Send us a note through our contact form and we will handle it ourselves, normally within a few days and always within 30.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in California law, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.
Keeping it safe
The site runs over HTTPS throughout. Payment details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Because we do not store your birth details, there is no store of them to lose. No system is perfectly secure, but the less that is kept, the less can go wrong.
Where your information goes
Our providers are based in the United States and your information is processed there. If you are in the UK or EU, that transfer relies on the standard protections those providers have in place.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the site rather than slipped in quietly.
